On November 27th, 2023 we lost one of our own, Miss Olivia.

Olivia first started taking classes with us in the fall of 2014. The very next year, Olivia started as one of our teaching assistants and eventually went on to teach classes as well & was a member of our Blue Heat competitive team.

In honor of Miss Olivia and their love of dance and time with ATD, Jim & Cindy Bishop, Olivia’s parents, have generously donated $2,000 to the 2024-2025 Blue Heat team. Their heartfelt donation will help cover costs associated with team membership, performance costumes and competition fees for the 2024-2025 season. We are humbled the Bishops chose to honor Miss Olivia’s memory in this way and we vow to continue providing an inclusive, supportive and nurturing place for students to thrive and grow as dancers and human beings. We will forever remember Miss Olivia and the time they and their family spent with us. Thank you, Jim & Cindy.
